Four youth players from the Sivasspor U13 team were injured in a vehicle collision outside their training facility in Sivas, Turkey, on April 13, 2026. The accident occurred around 1:00 PM on the Ankara-Erzincan highway, leaving one player, Burak Şahin, in critical condition.
The collision involved a taxi, driven by Hasan Ö., and a passenger car, driven by İsa Ü. The taxi had the license plate 58 T 0646, while the other vehicle bore the plate 58 ABY 275. In total, six people were injured in the accident, including the four young athletes.
