Muldoon was best known for his role as Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives. He originated this character from 1992 to 1995 and reprised it in 2011. He also played Richard Hart in Melrose Place from 1995 to 1996. His film career included a notable role as Zander Barcalow in Starship Troopers, released in 1997.
