Princess Charlotte celebrated her 11th birthday on May 2, 2026, with a special portrait shared by her parents, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales.
The portrait was taken by photographer Matt Porteous during the family’s Easter break in Cornwall. It shows Charlotte smiling in a striped top and denim pants surrounded by flowers. Her nails were painted blue in the birthday portrait.
Charlotte is the middle child of Prince William and Catherine. She has two siblings: Prince George, who is 12, and Prince Louis, who is 8. The royal family has often shared glimpses of their children’s activities during public appearances.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a video featuring clips of Charlotte playing outdoors and petting dogs. They expressed their gratitude for the birthday wishes received from the public.
Charlotte enjoys various sports, including netball and trampoline jumping. She also plays piano and made her debut in a Christmas carol service in December 2025.
