New Suzuki Across Launches in South Africa
The new Suzuki Across is set to make its debut in South Africa, with pricing starting at R349,900 for the base model. This spacious SUV measures 4,360mm in length and is powered by a 1.5-liter K15C four-cylinder mild-hybrid powertrain, producing 76kW and 139Nm of torque.
The Across will be available in three variants: the GL with a five-speed manual transmission, the GL with a six-speed automatic, and the flagship GLX with a six-speed automatic. The GL model is priced at R349,900, while the GL 6AT is available for R372,900. The top-tier GLX 6AT is priced at R464,900.
Customers looking for a personalized touch can opt for a two-tone exterior finish on the GLX model for an additional R4,500. Each purchase of the Across comes with a four-year/60,000km service plan and a five-year/200,000km promotional warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers.
The Across is manufactured by Maruti Suzuki in India and had its global debut in September. The vehicle will be showcased to South African media from March 17 to 19, providing an opportunity for journalists to experience its features firsthand.
