About Us

We aim to challenge and reinvent; to find more effective ways of making our clients’ brands move their customers. And to do so in a manner that is differentiated for their brand while being relevant to their specific customer. We aim to Resist the Usual. This is not difference for difference sake; that way lies gimmickry and short-termism. This is difference and relevance, the cornerstone of successful brand building. We use the power of insights, ideas and impact to deliver work that’s impossible to ignore. This binds us. This fires us up. This is who we are.

Y&R’s First Aid Ladies

21 February 2014

Y&R South Africa’s Johannesburg office recently hosted a first aid training opportunity to staff, which was conducted by Yolanda Steenkamp from Aid at Hand (Sharpminds).

The annual training is aimed at educating voluntary staff on how respond in a variety of emergency situations and included an intense one-day session.

“One always thinks one would know what to do in the case of an emergency like an accident, or an injury both at home and at the workplace, but truth is, without having undergone this intensive training, we are just not equipped to handle such situations. I now feel more comfortable and at ease to handle situations requiring first aid more effectively…..and most of all, more confidently!” said Elmarie Jones, HR Officer.

It’s good to know we have some experts in the making in the building!
