Click and Shout comes out of the recognition that, while social media can be used by causes to raise awareness more deeply and quickly than ever before, liking a post or tweeting about a social issue is not the same as doing something real and tangible. Y&R Advertising has globally launched an initiative over the festive season to celebrate the concept and to encourage employees and the public to share their stories.
The campaign has a simple ask: for people to share — through Instagram and Twitter — something they have done in the real world to help make a difference in their neighborhood, community or the world.
Let’s do more than just click and share – let’s shout and do in 2015!
