One Show Diversity Bootcamp

Graham Lang, Chief Creative Officer of Y&R South Africa, presented at the One Show Diversity Boot Camp over the weekend and addressed the group of up-and coming creative students on the topic ‘Connected Ideas.’

The boot camp, an initiative of the non-profit organisation The One Club, sought to refine the existing skill set of students to help increase black hires in the industry.

Ross Chowles, member of the International board of directors, explained that the objective was to inspire the group through a five-day programme, which included a brief that was unpacked and tackled with help from experienced mentor over the period. Each day was rounded off with a presentation from a respected Executive Creative Director or Chief Creative Officer from the Industry (including Graham Lang).
