Tracy Morton from our Johannesburg office recently attended a day trip to the Lion and Rhino Park at the Cradle of Humankind with organisers and children affiliated with the The Hands of Hope Foundation.
This follows after the Fill a Shoebox, Fill a Heart-initiative connected staff from Y&R and Base2 with needy children in the Heidelberg area who are currently beneficiaries of donations to the foundation.
Y&R volunteers could each choose one or more names of children of various ages and had the goal to fill a shoebox with goodies—necessities like shampoo, soap, a T-shirt, something sweet, as well as school supplies.
During the visit to the park, Tracy handed out sweets donated by the production team at Y&R.
Pictured here, is an example of a shoebox complete with Y&R wrapping paper that was specifically designed to be coloured in after the gift has been opened.
Thanks to Tracy, Lindie and all involved!
